Write a new year’s resolution most rational characters would consider a negative life change

Danial walked into the living room, and took the seat across from Jean. Who was staring at the wall, well tapping her pen against her note pad.
"Still trying to come up, with a resolution?"
"Yeah. How about you?"
"Oh i'm done."
"Really? what did you choose?"
"To cut off, contact with my family."
"Really why? You started this job to find them."
"Well as you know my father is a bit psycho. My mother is dead, lack of a better way to put that. And Dollie will follow Dandelion, to the end of the world.and Dandelion is 2 times as crazy, as our mother and 5 times, as dangerous. So yeah i'm cutting off contact."
"Huh...Makes scenes. I still need one tho."
Jean sighed, as she threw her notepad, onto the coffee table.
"You'll think of something."
With that Danial left the room.
